Invitation EuroGames Barcelona 2008

On April 12th 2007 at 12pm, Panteres Grogues will officially present the EuroGames Barcelona 2008. The ceremony will be performed in the recently opened Olympic and Sport Museum in the presence of Anna Pruna, General Sports Secretary, Pere Alcober, Councillor for Sports for the Town Council of Barcelona, and other authorities.

We would like there to be a strong Yellow Panther presence so you are asked to wear the EuroGames Barcelona 2008 T-shirt during the presentation.

The ceremony will consist of an explanation by the president and the vice president of the EuroGames Barcelona 2008, Joan Miró and Maria Ruíz, about what needs are anticipated for the games to be celebrated in Barcelona in July 2008. Next the representatives of the Catalan Government and of the Town Council will express their support for these games which will bring more than 5000 athletes participating in 27 sports to Barcelona, along with a cultural program which will make Barcelona the focus of the Europen LGTB community during the last week of July 2008. During the ceremony we will show the promotional video for the EuroGames Barcelona 2008, the web page http://2008.EuroGames.info/ will be online, we will show the official games mascot, the EuroGames Barcelona 2008 logo and we will introduce the patrons of the EuroGames Barcelona 2008. We can already reveal that the one of the patrons will be Judit Mascó and we will announce the other patron shortly. They will be presented on 12th April. The ceremony will close with a small cocktail in the Museum.
