At the EuroGames: Play with us, play safe!
During the EuroGames Barcelona 08 the NGOs Stop Sida and Hispanosida have started up two campaigns of prevention of the HIV. These two organizations will be present at the EuroGames Village, Maria Cristina Av., where they will offer thousands of condom & lube kits to the visitors and participants and they will answer all your requests related with the subject.
The NGO Stop Sida will have a stand at the Village and their volunteers will be there to attend all your requests. Stop Sida will distribute 5,000 special designed wristbands with a small pocket to carry your condoms on. In the same way, 20,000 preventive kits will be distributed with its campaign motto "Play & Enjoy - Globalize Prevention" that include a condom and a water-soluble lubricant. Finally, the association will offer healthy sexual workshops for the participants and visitors of the EuroGames Barcelona 08. Besides, Stop Sida, will be the mayor partner fo the closing ceremony which will be celebrated on Sunday 27th at 13:00 in front of the MACBA museum, Plaça dels Àngels, a ceremony open to all every body!
On the other hand, the organization Hispanosida has created another specific campaign in the occasion of the EuroGames Barcelona 08. Its objective is the prevention and the precocious detection of the HIV. In its stand at the Village, Hispanosida 15,000 kits with lube & condom will be distributed. The motto of Hispanosida campaign is "Athletes for peace, use condoms", in reference of EuroGames hymn, and thousands of postal cards and posters will be on every gay bars, pubs and discos.
