Agreement between EG08 and Barįa Foundation. |

It is a pleasure, for the EuroGames Barcelona 08 organizers, to announce that we have reached an agreement with the Barça Foundation (Football Club Barcelona).
Within the framework of this agreement, the Barça Foundation will promote the LGBT event through its web page, as well as with the benefit of sport material. On the other hand, they will connect the EG08 organizers with the technical and directive staff of the FC Barcelona at different levels in order for them to take part in the sports event especially in the activities of the EuroGames Barcelona 2008 and in the international conference on homophobia in sport, recognizing the social spirit of the EuroGames as a way bring forth the homosexual community in the sports world and the possible existence of homophobic situations in sports, in spite of its invisibility.
