Opening Ceremony July 24th at 9pm We will open the EuroGames with a ceremony full of light, music and emotions in the Palau Sant Jordi, a pavilion that will accommodate 15,000 people, in the center of the olympic ring of Montjuïc. This opening ceremony is formed by three great moments, three great homages: in the city of Barcelona, to Europe and to the Panteres Grogues Sport Club, which organizes and hosts the EuroGames. All that with a very clear goal: make the LGTB fact become a daily living issue. Furthermore, and like in all inaugurations, we will count on the great parade of the and the sportswomen who will participate in this edition. It is a ceremony open to everybody and tickets will be sold to the public. Though if you have registered yourself as a participant of the EG08 the entrance to this big party is included.
Closing ceremony July 27th at 1pm The closing ceremony will take place in the Plaça dels Àngels. An act that will want to be a denounce against those situations of vulnerability of the human rights that many LGTB persons suffer in countries where for the simple reason for being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transsexual is still a motive of exclusion, torture, imprisonment, and in some cases, the death. It will be a party open to everyone |
