1. How many sports can I register? How much do I have to pay? Your registration fee includes the participation in one sport. You can register up to three sports with a charge of 10 EUR per extra sport. 2. When do I have to pay? You have 30 days to submit the payment counting from the day that you send your registration. Your payment confirms your registration. If your payment is not submited after these 30 days, your registration will be deleted and you will need to fill in a new one. 3. Once I make my registration, is it possible to make changes? Changes are available during the first 30 days after you send your registration free of charge. Once you submit your payment, changes are available depending on availability. Extra fees will be charged if the new registration has a higher price, but no fee will be refunded in a case of a lower price. Once we open the access to the private area, you will be able to change any of your data, including sports, categories and sub categories. If a payment has been made, changes will only be available if they don’t require a refund from the EuroGames to the participant. 4. What does my participation fee include? Your fee includes all the activities and services detailed in the "FEES" section. Your fee also pays all the administration, organizacion and management of the tournement: staff, insurances, rent of facilities, printed materials, rent of the office, taxes… 5. Are there late fees?
Higher fees will be charged to participants registering after the 01/04/2008. Finally a charge of 3 EUR will be made in all cases. This charge includes all administrative costs including bank charges and credit card comissions. (*) Includes: Acreditation, welcome pack, opening ceremony, sport participation and closing ceremony. Yes, withdrawing from the tournement has a cost depending on when you cancel your participation:
- Before 01/04/2008 60% refund 7. Is it possible to add extra activites after I send my reservation and paymnet? Yes, it is possible depending on availability. Remember that every time you submit a payment there's a 3 EUR extra charge for administrative costs. 8. What is the Outreach program? EuroGames Barcelona 08 has a grant program specially addressed to participants from Mediterrenean and Iberian countries, and the European partner cities of Barcelona: Montpelier, Cologne, Sant Petersburg, Antwerp, Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Gaza, Dublin, Athens and Sarajevo. Participants must fullfil one of these requirements:
- income bellow 700 € per month

This year Eurogames 08 prioritize those applications Mediterranean countries, and partner cities of Barcelona, like Sarajevo. 9. Women and registration. In order to fullfil our gender parity goals, we have a certain number of spots reserved for women participants. These reserved spots will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis. 10. I can't save my registration because I get "The sport doesn't match the application" message. Please, for each sport, check the button next to the chosen sport name to verify that you have selected at least one event per sport. Please verify that once you have selected the event and closed the emerging window you see the events chosen written under your selected sports. If that doesn't occur you may have a problem with your browser and javascript. 11. I have registered for the Eurogames in Barcelona 2008 and received an email. I clicked on the link. I also received a second email with user-id and a password, but I don't know where to login with this information. We will send you a third e-mail telling you exactly where you will be able to log in using the refered credentials. It will take a few days but you shouldn't worry because you have already booked to come to Barcelona. If you need to modify the original information, please patiently wait for that e-mail and follow instructions. 12. Where do I have to log in to modify my registration data or pay for my registration? Once you have registered for the first time you will receive an e-mail with a user-id and password for the https://eurogames2008.sportec.es website. 13. I have forgot my username and password to log in to the registration web page. How can I recuperate them? Your details to log in to our web page were sent via e-mail. If you don't have this e-mail, you can generate a new e-mail from the web page http://eurogames2008.sportec.es. To recuperate your details, your passport number and e-mail address will be required. |
