Details
Before we go into details of the organisation we would like to underline two points which are very important for us:
regarding the 1st point:
Of course everybody wants to win, but the EuroGames are a fun event. That is why the referees are strictly instructed to punish immediately any kind of unsporting or unfair behaviour in order to prevent not so nice circumstances and injuries.
regarding the 2nd point:
The games start each 30 minutes. The duration of one game is 25 minutes (2x12*5- no break in-between, just side changing).
In case one team has less than 4 field players + 1 goalkeeper on the court or is not ready to play when the referee wants to start, the game will be count as lost match for the causing team. To avoid such an unpleasant situation please make sure you come on time.

The men’s competition takes place Friday and Saturday from 09-21 o’clock in the INFEC and the women’s on Saturday from 09-20 o’clock in the INFEC.
b) INFEC facilities
We play at the Sports University of Barcelona (National Institute of Physical Education)

Please have in mind that there are no lockers at the gym when you pack your bags and be careful with your belongings. The facility is accessibly for spectators.
Instructions how to get there with public transport:
The INEFC is on the mountain Montjuïc. It is next to the Olympic
Stadium and many other attractions. Unfortunately no metro goes there, but there are several buses going up the hill:
Our recommendation is: (from – to)

d) GAMES and POINTS
MEN: There are 8 teams in total and each team plays against the others. For each victory the winning team gets 3 points and for each drawn each team gets 1 point. At the end we have semi-finals with the best four teams and afterwards finals (and of course a 3rd place game).
SEMI-FINALS,
If after the game duration we have a drawn result, we have 2*5 minutes extra time and afterwards penalties.
FINALS:
The both finals, women and men, take 2*20minutes with 5 minutes break in-between.
e) CLOTHING
Please bring two colours of tricots with you in order to be able to change the colour if necessary.
f) BALLS
We have five balls for each team to warm up five minutes before the game. If you want to bring your own balls please feel free to do so.
g) REFEREES + RULES
